night like any other in Gravity Falls. Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland sat in their squad car by the side of the road, watching for speeders. Durland intently scribbled something on a pad of paper.

“Focus, Deputy,” Blubs said. “Easy…easy…careful there…you almost got it.”

Durland made one more line with his pencil…which led right to the mouth of the shark in CAP’N BRAIN-TEASER’S FUN MAZE!

“Dang it! I almost got the treasure!” he complained.

“The time we spend together is treasure enough,” the sheriff said.

Suddenly, the whole squad car began to shake, interrupting their tender moment.

“Hey, you feel that?” Sheriff Blubs asked.

With a sickening crunch of metal, something peeled off the top of the police car. The two officers stared at the sky as the roof of their car seemed to fly off on its own.
